Selecting your Cruise Control Switch
MCCruise offers 2 x Control Switch options to choose from. Simply select your preference when adding the product to your cart.
- Standard MCCruise switch: Fully featured, weatherproof, and backlit for night use.
- Slim MCCruise switch: A sleeker, no additional cost option, allowing installation inboard of the clutch lever mount.
The installation process is straightforward, with clear, detailed instructions provided for setup, calibration, and testing.
Important Note: Ensure compatibility with your vehicle’s handlebars and make adjustments if needed. If your setup differs, contact us to explore alternative solutions or modifications.

NOTE: - The 2022 model has an Accelerator Position Sensor Grip (APSG). The previous models up to 2021 still have twin throttle cables coming out of the grip housing, the new 2022 model has no cables, only electrical wires. This cruise control kit will NOT fit the new model with the Accelerator Position Sensor Grip (APSG). If your bike has twin throttle cables at the twist grip housing like the one shown in the fourth photo above, this cruise control kit is suitable.
Cruise control switch - there are two options to choose from (see photos):
- MCCruise switch: Our proven, fully-featured and weatherproof switch which comes standard with all of our products. Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light.
- Slim MCCruise switch: Our new fully-featured and weatherproof switch which is a no cost option, and is fitted between the bike's switch block and the clutch lever mount. Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light. The switch is 10mm (3/8") wide, so it may be necessary to slide the clutch lever assembly across to make space to mount the switch on the handlebar. Contact us for installation instructions if you wish to see how it is fitted.
Speedometer Correction is an optional extra available with the cruise control for this model. Click here to purchase the speedometer correction.
Cruise control installation is unchanged, this option requires a change in the way the cruise control wiring harness is made and enabling the function in the cruise control computer.
Installation instructions for this model are currently based on the FZ-09/MT-09 installation. The installation is virtually identical to the FZ-09/MT-09.
