Selecting your Cruise Control Switch
MCCruise offers 2 x Control Switch options to choose from. Simply select your preference when adding the product to your cart.
- Standard MCCruise switch: Fully featured, weatherproof, and backlit for night use.
- Slim MCCruise switch: A sleeker, no additional cost option, allowing installation inboard of the clutch lever mount.
The installation process is straightforward, with clear, detailed instructions provided for setup, calibration, and testing.

The Motorcycle Cruise Control unit is specifically designed for the DL1000XT but will also fit all 2nd Generation DL1000 models from 2014. Relocation of the throttle servo and other changes have improved the performance of the cruise control significantly over the previous model.
Note: - The DL1000XT and later DL1000 models are fitted with an Evaporative Emissions Charcoal Canister in some if not all markets. This cruise control kit will fit all models with this device without modifications to the bike.
Note: - At some point in production there was a change in electrical connectors on the bike. Download the brochure and read the last page to find out how to determine which connector your bike has. We cannot supply the cruise control without this information. We believe the change occurred with the change to the XT model, but we do not know for sure. In our experience, all bikes up to 2016 had the earlier unsealed connectors. In order to fit the cruise control on bikes with the later sealed connectors, a set of terminal extractor tools is required. These are optional, but will be needed to install the cruise control. More detail about these tools is provided in the brochure.
