Selecting your Cruise Control Switch
MCCruise offers 2 x Control Switch options to choose from. Simply select your preference when adding the product to your cart.
- Standard MCCruise switch: Fully featured, weatherproof, and backlit for night use.
- Slim MCCruise switch: A sleeker, no additional cost option, allowing installation inboard of the clutch lever mount.
The installation process is straightforward, with clear, detailed instructions provided for setup, calibration, and testing.

This cruise kit will only fit later model with non-power assisted ABS brakes (ABS II). If your bike is the earlier model with power assisted integral ABS OR NO ABS brakes, purchase the product for earlier model with Integral ABS.
If you do not know what ABS system your bike has, perform this test: Turn the ignition switch on (do not start the engine) and apply front or rear brake, you will hear the electric servo assistance motor whirring if you can hear the noise, it has the earlier power assisted brakes. All other ABS variants do NOT make the whirring noise.
Please complete the BMW R1200GS PRE-ORDER CHECKLIST in the documentation tab and EMAIL US with all the answers when placing an order. This is very important in ensuring we provide a kit which fits your bike as precisely as possible as BMW regrettably change the bikes very frequently.
Purchase of the Utilux #61 roll crimper is recommended. This Electronic Cruise Control unit is specifically designed for the vehicle, except for one or more spliced terminations on the wiring harness which must be completed by the installer.
