NOTE: - This is item is no longer available. Repair parts (housings, keypads and seals) are available, but complete switches are no longer available and have been replaced with our new switch which is a direct swap with no modification required.
Direct replacement for the MCS control switch harness, keypad and housing.
There are three different selections that must be made to get the correct switch.
1. There are two different types of switch available, one for bikes with cruise control computers made by MotorCycle Cruise Controls (cruise part number MCS 4xxx or MCS 6xxx series), the other for a bought in cruise control computer for our earlier Throttle By Wire cruise controls (cruise part number MCS 9xxx series). NOTE: - Later Throttle By Wire cruise controls have MCS6xxx TBW part number and they use the same switch as the MCS4xxx and MCS6xxx cruise controls.
Note that neither of these switches will work with earlier (pre 2004) MCS 1xxx or MCS 2xxx series cruise controls. Contact us for availability of these early model switches.
2. Some bikes require the right-hand side version which requires modification at extra cost (keypad and drainage holes are different to the left side switch). This usually applies to bikes with semi auto or auto transmissions such as Yamaha YCCS or Honda DCT.
3. There are two harness lengths available - 90cm (35") or 160cm (63").
