Cruise Control for Suzuki DL650 & 650XT V-Strom Third Generation (from 2017) servo

Installation is not easy (took me 7 hours) but EXTREMELY well detailed, the removal of the speed sensor on the main harness is nerve wreaking, the throttle servo cable final adjustment and calibration of the system are paramount to be done correctly buuuut after that it just works, really well. Even thogh minimum speed is said to be 35 kph I can do even 25 but it might disengage every now and then. 30kph is solid, which is great for me in the area I live. Tweaking the gains and the acceleration spread is also very helpfull as it increases the smoothness, especially at very low speeds on flats or low speeds with uphill/downhill scenarios. Minor gripe, the difference in color between red and yellow on the slim control is not very obvious :)

I’ve had this installed now for over 2 years. The install was painless, around 5hrs DIY. A lot of my rides are long distance (iron butt rides) And it has been faultless! Holds speed up and down hills. I can 100% recommend. Cheers, Brendon.
