The Motorcycle Cruise Control unit is specifically designed for these vehicles.

The motorcycle cruise installation instructions and specific cruise manuals and supporting documents can be found here.

This cruise control is for the earlier models that do NOT have ABS brakes.  There is another model for later models that come with ABS brakes.  The cruise control is almost identical on both models, but the wiring harness is slightly different for the ABS models.

The cruise control computer (electronics module) is mounted on the left side of the motor, beside the rear cylinder.  If the bike has the original air filter housing top cover removed (a common modification), the inlet tube for the air filter housing runs into a cavity above the battery, immediately behind the frame steering head.  This space is empty if the air filter top cover is removed, the cruise control computer can be mounted in this space instead of beside the engine.  This option MUST be specified when the kit is ordered, as the wiring harness is different for the two versions.  See the photos and refer to the brochure for more detail.

There is also an optional decorative CIU cover available in brushed stainless steel (silver) or satin black - see the photos and refer to the brochure for more detail.
