The Motorcycle Cruise Control unit is specifically designed for this vehicle. It was developed on a 2015 model bike and will fit 2015 through to current models. This kit should fit earlier models as well, but there is another kit designed specifically for the pre 2015 bikes.

There is the option to mount the throttle servo either under the seat or on the frame on the left side of the bike. The mounting location must be selected at time of ordering. See the brochure for more details.

Jon at Ozarks Backroads has done an awesome video on YouTube which will help you enormously during your install.

The motorcycle cruise installation instructions and specific cruise manuals and supporting documents can be found here.

    Easy to Install, Must-Have Mod

I bought this after a cross-country road trip from Arizona to Georgia when I found that a simple throttle lock wouldn't do for the long straight interstates in Texas. Following Ozarks Backroads YouTube video, I had it operational in a few hours.

I also installed the slimline controller, which I highly recommend instead of the above/below handlebar controls. I had a few issues with it shutting off when it rained, but once I put some dielectric grease around the wires going into the speed sensor, I stopped having problems.

This enabled me to complete a SaddleSore 1000 with Bun Burner 1500 on my way back from Des Moines to Tucson last year. I use it every day on my long commute to work. Now I can use the money I saved from not buying a 2019 Versys 1000 on suspension and tuning improvements.
