Speed Limiter for HONDA TRX420 Rancher (2014-2021)

This is a UTV SpeedSafe speed limiter configured for the HONDA TRX420 Rancher (2014 - 2021 Models).

To our knowledge, all models up to 2020 or 2021 use the HX040 connector on the rear brake light switch. Some or all Honda models that have had a minor or major update may have changed to the HX060 connector for the brake light switch connector in the 2021 or 2022 model year.

Check that your vehicle has the earlier HX040 brake switch connector (see the photos).  If it does, this is the correct product.  If it has the HX060 brake switch connector, purchase the product for the 2022 TRX420.

Your UTV SpeedSafe speed limiter kit comes with all the components you will need including the Electronic Computer, a Setup (configuration) Switch (if selected), a Wiring Harness and a UTV SpeedSafe installation guide and Setup manual tailored to your specific ATV, UTV or Side by Side vehicle.

This installation guide will cover any tools required, calibration, set up and testing, as well as additional information on safety and features. 

The UTV SpeedSafe Speed Limiter is straightforward to install and should take approximately 60 - 120 minutes per installation. 

Please note: A set-up switch to configure the SpeedSafe speed limiter is necessary to configure the unit. For a fleet of vehicles only one switch is required.
